Another busy week

Another busy week, which is my excuse for not blogging much this week. However, I finally talked to Ron Porter this week on the phone. To remind my "many" readers, this is what I'm talking about, from my 11/4 post:

I have something very exciting to report. I was contacted by e-mail this week by Ron Porter, a retired football player who is working on creating a webpage for Emily Hughes. Ron played at the University of Idaho, here in my beloved Moscow, and then was in the NFL in the late 60s and early 70s, playing for the Colts as a linebacker. He and his wife now live in Florida, and know the Hughes family. He has offered me a "position" on the webpage team writing articles for it. How cool is that!

Ron gave me my first assignment, which I'll post next. He made some minor edits, mostly to make the article, about Cup of China, more "personal." (Translation: I used Emily Hughes' last name throughout, and Ron changed it to use her first name.)
