It's late, so I'll do this quickly.
Music:
Napster, 80s music radio
KFOG, streaming audio. It's my humble opinion that KFOG, out of San Francisco, is the best radio station in the country. Perhaps I'll post more about it in the future.
TV:
Jon was out of town, so I was on my own.
Last night's "Jeopardy." It always amazes me how many more questions I get when Jon isn't around. That's because he's smarter than I am, and answers them faster. I also tend to do worse when I'm tired. Guess I was well-rested today.
"Inside the Actor's Studio," with Robert Downey, Jr. Now, I've been watching this show for years, way before Bravo and homosexuality became cool. It's a great show because it provides a glimpse into acting as an art that us non-actors so rarely get to see. Gotta love James Lipton--one of the gayest straight men around. I love his questionaire; use it with my clients all the time. I'll have to answer it here sometime.
Robert Downey, Jr. is a very interesting man. Of course, his life has been raviged by drug use. He talks exactly like an addict. He admitted that his father introduced him to drugs when he was eight years old! His response was, "Well, it was a more permissive time." My response to that was, "What a load of crap!" I've known some twenty-year olds whose parents did the same thing. The tragic thing is that Downey is a victim of the "me-generation." He's a marvelous actor, though. My favorite thing he's ever done is the video of Elton John's song, "I Want Love." I'm a little surprised it wasn't mentioned.
Yesterday's "General Hospital." I feel really guilty that I haven't visited my beloved Usenet newsgroup, RATSA, about GH. My involvement in that group used to be quite extensive. More about that later as well.
"NYPD Blue." I was wrong last night; the episode I viewed tonight was Kim Delaney's final episode.
It's late--off to bed!
