Not that anyone's gonna read this, but let's try this out...
I've always wanted to have a blog. When my wonderful husband gave me tickets to the 2007 National Figure Skating championships in Spokane, Wash. (a mere two hours from our home in Northern Idaho), I decided that I would bring my laptop and blog about my experiences there. Then I decided that I'd go ahead and start blogging when the new season begins. The first broadcast of the new season begins this Sunday, 10/15, so here we are. That is when my blogging will really begin in earnest.
In the days to come, I'll explain my love/obsession for the beautiful sport of figure skating. I'll explain why I love it so. I've done a little research, but found no place when figure skating is discussed the way in which it deserves. So, in spite of my busy life of sleep deprivation (I have two little developmentally disabled children) and hardly any time to spend with my husband, I decided to take it on.
We'll see how it goes! At any rate, I'm very excited about this new project.
